Terms and review guidelines
Reviews on this site are the personal opinions of the parents who wrote them. They aren't statements of fact by us, and we don't check every detail. Publishing a review doesn't mean we agree with it.
Review guidelines
By submitting a review, you agree that it:
- Describes your own family's first-hand experience at the school, not something you heard from others.
- Is honest. Statements of fact are true to the best of your knowledge, and opinions are ones you genuinely hold.
- Doesn't name or identify any individual staff member, student or parent, including by describing them so they could be recognised (for example “the Year 4 maths teacher”).
- Doesn't accuse anyone of a crime, abuse, misconduct, dishonesty or professional incompetence. Raise concerns like these with the school, the NSW Education Standards Authority, or NSW Police instead.
- Doesn't include private information, such as fees you were personally charged, medical details or disciplinary records.
- Isn't written by someone who works at, or has a financial interest in, the school or a competing school, and isn't paid for or offered in exchange for anything.
- Is free of abusive, discriminatory or threatening language.
You're responsible for what you write. We may decline, edit out, hide or remove any review that we believe breaks these guidelines, and we may ask you to show that you're a parent at the school.
Reporting a review
If you believe a review is untrue, unfair, identifies you, or breaks these guidelines, use the “Report this review” link under it, or the report form. Tell us who you are, which review it is, and what you believe is wrong.
We assess every report and take action within 7 days of receiving it. Where a report looks reasonable, we hide the review while we look into it. We'll reply by email to tell you the outcome.
Schools
Schools can't pay to be listed, for a better position, or for a fair review to be removed. Schools can report reviews in the same way as anyone else.
Your content
You keep ownership of your review and give us permission to display it on this site. You can withdraw it at any time from the “My reviews” page.
School information
School details such as gender, year range and affiliation are a guide only and may be out of date. Check them with the school before making decisions.
